It has been quite a tournament for the underdogs: Lehigh over Duke! Ohio University over Michigan! We have family and friends supporting those winners who are thrilled by the wins. We also have family and friends supporting Linda and she has come through with a March Madness victory of her own.
Today Linda’s oncologist confirmed that the chemotherapy has gone so well (read Adrienne’s last blog post) that this Friday will be the last chemo treatment – six weeks ahead of schedule! The doc is confident that putting Linda through two more rounds of toxic chemo isn’t worth the minor benefits she might get from them. And the fans go wild!
Linda advances to the next round: Surgery will happen approximately four weeks from Friday.
Who knew that the first four chemo treatments would be the Final Four?
